She was born Oct. 29,1914, in Berthoud, to George and Anna Marie Bauer Adler. She attended Berthoud school. She married George Schleiger on Dec. 18, 1939, in Berthoud.
Mrs. Schleiger and her husband farmed in the Berthoud area for 40 years. She worked with Edith Woelfle a Loveland-area food caterer, for 16 years, which she enjoyed.
She was a member of the Berthoud First United Methodist Church. She sang in the church choir for more than 60 years, starting at age 12. She enjoyed singing for weddings, funerals and other special occasions, gardening, tending to flowers, baking and caring for her family.
