FORT KENT - Adrienne (Babin) Theriault, 85, died June 26, 2004, at home surrounded by her family. She was born May 25, 1919, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Taddie and Marie (Madore) Babin. She was predeceased by her husband, Romeo Theriault. Adrienne is survived by 10 children, Raynold, Viola Pelletier, Carroll, Franklin, Lloyd, Donald, David, Rita Cox, all of Fort Kent, Laurette Brown of Kansas City, Mo., and Mariland Ventura of Miami, Fla. She is also survived by her sister, Cora Caron of Fort Kent; 41 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be remembered as a dedicated mother and as an avid prayer who prayed continuously for the sick and less fortunate. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by five brothers, Alva, Zenon, Eddy, Adrien and David Babin. Friends may call 2-4 Monday 7-9 p.m. at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home and 9 a.m. Tuesday until time of service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Fort Kent, with the Rev. Claude Gendreau officiating. Committal service will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
