TG was born in Missouri, the son of George A. and Cecile Burch of Nodaway county Mo. He was raised a farm boy with many days of hard labor. In Jan. 1941 he joined the Aircorps at Jefferson Barracks Mo. as a Private. After the service he married and had two sons. He later divorced and moved to the Denver area where he started his own heating and cooling business. In 1984 he married Suzanne Burdge whom he had known for 11 years. Upon retirement, TG couldn't sit still and sought out employment with the local hardware store at University Hills in South Denver. His favorite past time was meeting new people. TG had a huge smile, a warm heart, and a wonderful sense of humor.
