Daisy Blanche Percival Church, age 87, native of Hillsboro, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 1965 at Glenwood, Iowa.

Born April 11, 1878, daughter of Josiah B. Percival and Lottie Tade Percival, she was the last survivor of a family of eight children.

Mrs. Church was educated in the Van Buren County rural schools, Mt. Pleasant, Academies, and Business College, Dixon, Ill. Later she was employed in the business department of Marshall Fields in Chicago and taught in rural schools of Hillsboro community.

March 14, 1900, she was united in marriage with Floyd. M. Church, who passed away Feb. 11, 1953.

Children born to this marriage are Mildred (Mrs. H.J. Benton) Malvern, Iowa, Phyllis (Mrs. C.H. Robbins) Malvern, Byron R. Church of Hillsboro, and Helen who died in infancy.

After the past season in Arizona, Mrs. Church returned to Malvern, Iowa and passed away 12 days later on July 7th.

She was a loyal member of the Hillsboro Baptist Church and an active worker in the Church Missionary Organization.

Sisters who preceded her in death were Mrs. Minnie Coleman, Mrs. Nettie Teter, Mrs. June Meyers and Mrs. Edna Meyers.

Surviving are two daughters and one son, and five grandchildren; Joe Benton of Mesa, Ariz., Morgan Robbins of Eugene, Ore; Mrs. Bert Vandenberg of Donnellson, Mrs. David Trueblood of Newark, Ohio and Mrs. Ronald Bower of Lawton, Okla., and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held Saturday, July 10 at the Hillsboro Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. David Diercks officiating. Organ music by Mrs. Vinton Hoaglin. Pall Bearers were J.M. Dodds, L.T. Harlan, Phil Hixson, Verl Shelman, T.M. Phelps and Charles Stanley, Jr.
