Mr. L. C. Williams, 89, of Lucedale, MS. died Monday, December 23, 1996 at his residence. He was born February 17, 1907 in Vancleave, MS. to Mr. and Mrs. Mack and Nora Williams who preceded him in death along with a sister, Madeline Ashford.
Mr. Williams was of the Methodist faith and a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, Lucedale, MS. Also, he was a retired laborer from Ingalls Shipbuilding, Inc.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Leslie Williams, Basin, MS.; two sons, Leroy (Christine) Williams, Moss Point, MS.; M. C. Williams, Lexington, MS.; two daughters, Roberta (Harry) Howard, Moss Point, MS.; and Betty Foreman, Los Angeles, CA.; one brother-in-law, Willie Wilson, Basin, MS.; twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relative and friends.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to service, Saturday, December 28, 1997 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, Lucedale, MS.
Services will follow promptly at 1:00 p.m. also from the church with the Rev. Jackie Holmes officiating. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Basin, MS.
