A life long resident and retired captain of the Highlands police department, with 30 years of service, he also was a Army veteran of World War 1,and a member of the Twin Lights American Legion Post,ex-chief of the Highlands Fire Department,and treasurer of the Highlands First Aid Squad. He was survived by his wife Mrs Iva Lane Parker,and two brothers,Irving and J. Clifton Parker, both of Highlands.
