Beverly Jessup of Visalia passed away Friday, Jan. 9, 2009 in Visalia at the age of 88.
Beverly was born to Onie and Dora Carter on Feb. 21, 1920 in Burneyville, Oklahoma.
She married the love of her life, Hubert Lee Jessup in 1938 in Burneyville, Okla. She and Hubert moved to Calif. in 1941.
Hubert preceded her in death in 1989. Beverly was a devoted housewife most of her married life. She accepted Christ at a young age and near the end, looked forward to rejoining her family members in heaven.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Janelle Jessup, grandson Richard Boswell, three brothers and one sister.
Beverly is survived by daughter Arvilla Boswell (Joe) of Visalia, son Hubert Jessup (Marie) of Newton, MA., Grandchildren Ethan Jessup of MA., Micah Jessup of TN., Elicia Russell and Stacie Walters of Visalia. Link Lukins of Woodlake. Great Grandchildren Link Lukins Jr., Adam and Lauren Walters, Luka Jessup. She has one surviving sister, Euna Jane White of Oklahoma and special niece Judy Simpson of Visalia.
