Lola M. Luman

November 19, 1920 - January 23, 2009

Lola M. "Doll" Luman was born November 19, 1920 in Lexington, to Joe S. and Lula Maude (Smith) Rodgers. She was one of ten children. She lived in Lexington since 1987 and was formerly of Oklahoma.

Doll was a member of the Lexington United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. On May 15, 1983, she and Willis O. Luman were married in Norman, Oklahoma.

Doll passed away Friday, January 23, 2009 at Richards Memorial Hospital, reaching the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her husband , Willis and seven brothers, Bewel, Bethel, Homer, Roy, Marvin, George and Joe Rodgers. Sister, Ruby Bulger.

She is survived by her sister, Myrtle Locklin, of Lexington and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Memorials may be given in her name to the Lexington United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 116, Lexington, Texas 78947.

Services were held on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Lexington United Methodist Church with burial in the Lexington Cemetery. The Rev. Linda O'Neal officiated.
