Thomas Franklin Adams died at his home one mile south of Springfield, Saturday, August 27, 1910, at 7:30 p. m., of a complication of diseases, aged 63 years, 8 months, 3 days. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Hazel at the home Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Interment was made in Springfield cemetery. Mr. Adams was born Dec. 24, 1846, in Howell county, Missouri. He came to Colorado last May, hoping to benefit his health, but the climate here did not revive him as he had an illness of longstanding. Mr. Adams was well liked for his honesty and sobriety while here in this county, and his wife and loved ones have the sympathy of all who know them. ---Springfield Herald, September 2, 1910
