69, of Denver died June 26 in Fitzsimons Army Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial was June 29 in All Saints Catholic Church. Burial was in Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mr. Altman, a Denver native, retired from the Operating Engineers Union Local 9, where he had been a 40- year member. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Lois A. Altman of Denver; three sons, Mark J. Altman and John J. Altman of Denver and Dean J. Altman of Port Orchard, Wash.; three daughters, Kathleen A. Altman of Elko, Nev., Lisa N. Altman of California and Laureen Scott of Grand Junction; and a brother, Bill Altman of Denver.
