Mrs. Grace A Ford, age 95, died Wednesday, February 19 at Lane Memorial Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Funeral services were held Friday, February 21 at Houston Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Houston Cemetery with the Rev. Al Gaspard officiating.
The daughter of the late William S Atkinson and the late Maggie Smith, she was a housewife. She was the widow of the late Joseph Henry Ford and was a member of First Baptist Church of Houston.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Eloise Ford Reeves of Baker, Louisiana; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Dr. Van Philpot, Eddie Joe Reeves, Dyer Atkinson, Larry Bonds, Frank Pemper and Bob Scott.
Houston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
