Miss Sarah Edmundson died at eight o'clock last evening in the seventy-eighth year of her age at the residence of her brother, John Edmundson, with whom she has made her home the past twenty-seven years. Miss Edmundson was well known and highly respected. She was born within a mile and a half of this city on the fifth day of March 1818, and resided in this vicinity during her entire life. The funeral will take place from the residence of her brother, No. 25 Seventh avenue on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Rev. J. J. McCarrell officiating. Interment in Edmundson cemetery, Port Vue. Friends of the family are cordially invited to be present.
