Funeral for Glen Ogle, 83, Route 3, Blanchard, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan 3, in the chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. T. H. Murray and Rev. A. D. Stewart.
Mr. Ogle was born Sep 28, 1896 in Custer County, He died Tuesday, Jan 1, in Grady Memorial Hospital.
He and Georgea Griswold were married June 29, 1921 in Oak Ridge.
A resident of Oklahoma since 1904, he was a farmer and rancher east of Chickasha.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ora Barrett and Zona Ricks, and a brother Albert Ogle.
He is survived by his wife Georgea, of the home, four daughters Mrs. Clarence (LaVerne) Goodnight, and Mrs. Melton (Cleta Faye) Ashford both of Blanchard; Mrs. T. C. (Juanita) Jackson of Groom, Texas and Mrs Billy (Wilma Joyce) Pittman of Rush Springs; three sisters, Rev. Maud Spoon of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Mary Gay and Mrs. Zorada Spoon, both of Chickasha; a brother Alfred Ogle of Alteville, Calif.; ten grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
