Paul W. Aulabaugl, 73, died at 4 p.m. Monday at Alton Memorial Hospital He had been in
failing health since January.
A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Aulabaugh, he was born Jan. 29, 1895, in Hettick.
He was married to the former Cora Elder, Oct. 28, 1915, who survives.
An employe of the American Smelting and Refining Co. for 39 years, he retired in 1960.
Mr. Aulabaugh was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church, the Asarco
Club of American Smelting, and was active in the Men's Brotherhood of the Church.
Other survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Harold (Frances) Horsley, Godfrey, Mrs. Ray (Betty) Trogdon, Urbana, and Mrs. Jack (Ruth) Na'ughton, Alton; a son, Paul, M., Tampa, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Eckel, Douglass, Kan.; two half-sisters, Mrs. Margera -Andrews, Wheaton, and Mrs. James Treadgold, Maywood.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at Smith Funeral Home, Alton. Funeral services
will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, followed by burial in Upper A l t o n
Cemetery.
The Building Fund of the Main Street United Methodist Church has been named as memorial.
