Hazel B. Peterson, 87, formerly of 128 Aldren Ave., died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday (Sept. 16, 2008) in the Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born June 21, 1921, in Frewsburg, the daughter of Herbert and Elizabeth Thayer Bragg.
For over 30 years, she was employed at the Rhoe B. Henderson Insurance Agency.
Surviving are a daughter: Kathleen Peterson of Greensboro, N.C.; twin sons: Bryce M. (Sandra) Peterson of Rockwall, Texas and Todd Peterson of Corry, Pa.; four grandchildren: Jeffrey Peterson of Greensboro, Timothy Peterson of Littleton, Mass., Scott Peterson of Dallas, Texas, and Amy Castillo of Lexington, Mo.; two great-grandchildren: Garrett and Jennifer Peterson both of Greensboro; a sister, Doris Berg of Jamestown; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph M. ''Pete'' Peterson, whom she married Aug. 8, 1942, and who died April 6, 1998; and her son-in-law, Dennis Peterson.
