Myrtie H. Lott, 88, died Thursday morning at the Statesboro Nursing Home after a brief illness. The Bulloch County native had lived in Statesboro most of her life. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Elmarita Morris, Statesboro; one son, Gene Lott, Statesboro; three grandchildren: Norman Morris, Darrell Morris and Tal Lott, all of Statesboro; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral service for Mrs. Lott will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Lower Lotts Creek Primitive Baptist with the Rev. John Hanna officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The body will remain at the mortuary until the funeral hour.
Smith-Tillman Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
