Meat Cutter at Allen's Market Passes Here Sunday Morning
Mark Dodds, 63, 1700 South Water, passed away at his home Sunday morning. He was a meat cutter at Allen's market. He resided in Wichita as a youth, went to Kansas City when he was 21 years old and returned to this city in 1934. He was a member of the Reorganized Latter Day Saints church.
He is survived by his widow, Grace, of the home address; three sons, R. P. and S. J., both serving in the army, and Jack M., of the home; five sisters, Mrs. Ada Thompson, Oatville, Mrs. Zella Mullins, San Pedro, Cal., Mrs. Lona Brown, Cameron, Mo., Mrs. Bulla Bowers, Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Bess Bennett, Overland Park, Mo.; and two brothers, Joe and Jess, both of San Pedro, Cal.
Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral chapel of the Downing mortuary at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday by Rev. Burman Lundquist. Burial will be in Maple Grove cemetery.
