Funeral services for WILLIS F.

WHITTINGTON, age 48, son of the late Captain and Mrs. W. F. WHITTINGTON, prominent early southern Oklahoma family, who was found dead in bed Thursday morning, will be held at the Bettes Funeral home chapel Friday afternoon, conducted by Dr. S. W. Williams of the First Methodist church. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery.

Bearers of the body will be E. C. London, Frank Steel, S. L. Wilkinson, Everett Henley, Charles Dobbins and J. Barton Hettick.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. C. D. CARTER, who is the widow of congressman Carter, and Miss Jewell WHITTINGTON, with whom he was associated in the operation of the Whittington Hotel, and a nephew, Coleman R. JONES. The Whittingtons came to Ardmore in the early days.
