Alva Stout, 71, Is Buried At Center Valley
Alva L. Stout, 71 year old, a native of the Hazelwood community, died Monday in his home at 29 South Adams Street, Indianapolis. Mr. Stout was a retort cook with the Kingan Division of Hygrade Food Products for 27 years before retiring in 1954 and had lived in Indianapolis thirty years but was buried yesterday in Center Valley Cemetery, near the place of his birth.
Funeral services were held at the Flanner Buchanan Hall Mortuary Wednesday at 2 o'clock.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Grace Stout, a half-sister, Mrs. Edith Williams of Kankakee, Ill., and a half-brother, Bernice Mason of Rockville.
