LAURENS - Liddie Mae Hughes, 84, of Route 5, Smith Road, Laurens, died April 5, 1991, in a Laurens Hospital.
A native of Laurens County, she was the widow of Joe C. Hughes and daughter of the late Nathan and Lizzie McKee Hill. She was a member of Laurens Second Baptist Church, the Golden Circle Sunday School Class, the Order of the Amaranth and the White Shrine of Jerusalem. She was a retired employee of J. P. Stevens Co., Watts Plant.
Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth Bright of Laurens; two brothers, Edwin Hill of Gray Court and Willie B. Hill of Asheville; and one granddaughter.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 8:30 tonight at the Kennedy Mortuary.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow at Second Baptist Church of Laurens by Dr. Joseph Smith and the Rev. Grange Cothran. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family is at the home of Mrs. James Bright, Route 5, Smith Road, Laurens.
