Claude E. Allen, 76, of Willis. passed away Friday June 3, 2005, at St Joseph Mercy Hospital. He was born February 18, 1929 in Yancy County, NC. The son of Clendell and Nettie (Atkins) Allen. He was long time dry-wall installer in this area. Claude was an avid hunter and enjoyed bear hunting and gambling. He especially loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include one daughter, Pamela Stratton of Willis, five grandchildren, Cheis Stratton, Kimberly Stratton, Kenneth Stratton Jr, Dorothy Krepps and Phillip Tracy; four great grandchildren; one brother. The funeral service will be 1:30 P.M. Wednesday June 8 at STARK FUNERAL SERVICE Moore Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home where the family will greet friends 4-8 P.M. Tuesday.
