John Bricker of Newville died Thursday morning after a lengthy ilness, aged 83 years. He was the son of the late Elias and Sarah Stickel Bricker and was long a resident of Cumberland County. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John Hoover of Plainfield; Mrs. Glenn Gouse of Carlisle and Mrs. William Dutton of Harrisburg; two sons, Charles of Cumberland, Maryland, and Clarence Bricker of Centerville, and by nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the J. R. Shulenberger funeral parlors in Newville. Burial was made in the Possum Hill cemetery.
