Mary R. Fickling, 85, of Columbia, S.C., formerly of Gerton, died Friday, May 7, 2010, at Providence Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis G. Fickling, who died in 1999; and a son, John "Willie" Morton Jr., who died in 1970.
Survivors include a son, Grover Martin of Columbia, S.C.; two grandsons, Grover J. Martin Jr. and wife, Kim, of Deland, Fla., and Todd D. Martin of Gerton; two great-grandchildren, Hunter J. Martin and Hannah K. Martin.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bearwallow Cemetery in Gerton with Chaplain Donald Freeman officiating.
