Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away December 14, 1994 peacefully at her home, from complications of diabetes.
Born February 25, 1922 in Central Sevier County, Utah, daughter of Russell Benjamin and Bethena Lay Marble. Married Delore Grow; later divorced. Married Robert C. Smith, May 19, 1969 in Sunset, Utah; he preceded her in death July 3, 1993. Member LDS Church. Retired from Hill Air Force Base after 20 years. Survived by son, Scott O. and wife, Wendy Smith, Kearns; daughter, Annette and husband, Allen Grossnickle, Elko, Nevada; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Olive (Ivan) Sorenson; Max B. Marble; Opal (Edward) Larsen; Golden and Joyce Marble; Emily (Sheldon) Spencer; Stephen G. and Joann Marble. Preceded in death by her infant daughter and her brothers, Elmo R., Harvey L. and Ray V. Marble.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 12 noon at the Kearns 7th Ward, 4270 West 5700 South. Friends may call Sunday 5-7 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Monday at the church, one hour prior to services. Interment, Aultorest Cemetery, Ogden.
