T.J. Jefferies died at his home near Straughn School Thursday morning at 9 o'clock. Mr. Jefferies was 73 years of age and had been a resident of Covington County for forty years.
Burial took place at Mt. Zion Church Friday at eleven o'clock. The services were attended by a large number of friends throughout the county.
Mr. Jefferies is survived by four daughters: Mrs. S.J. Livings, Mrs. L.S. Livings, Mrs. H.W. Streetman and Mrs. R.R.
