Daughter of William and Fannie Grace (Johnson) Nuding, Grandma came to Battle Creek as a child, was married three times, first to Kenneth Oren Wine, then James Ossie Hutton, and to Harold Thomas Holmes. She had three children by Mr. Wine; daughter Shirley (Lloyd) Frey survives. Also Audrey (William) Caldwell, deceased, and son Robert who died in infancy. Also leaves ten grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren. She was born SDA, but converted to Methodism as a young adult and was a Grey Lady for many years. She was a very kind and gentle soul, and Grandma will always be missed and fondly remembered.
