Funeral services for Joseph Lincoln White, 63, who died suddenly of a heart attack while at work at the Clovis Cattle Commission company yards Monday, are tentatively set for 2:30 p.m. (CST) at the Assembly of God church in Muleshoe, Tex.

The Rev. Harold Hubbard will conduct the rites, and burial will be in the Muleshoe cemetery under direction of the Muleshoe Funeral Home.

White, born June 26, 1886, in Texas, has been a resident of Clovis for the past three years. He was employed as a cattle feeder and Monday had gone to a barn to load a wagon with hay. Accompanying him was A.H. Judd who reported that White, standing on the wagon, suddenly crumpled and fell to the ground. Judd reported White as dead by the time he reached him. Memorial Chapel attendants transferred the body from Clovis to Muleshoe.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary White, four sons, Corp. Clayton White, Ft. Bragg, N.C., Joe L. and Jimmy White, Clovis and R.B. White, Lynwood, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. George J. Scott, Compton, Calif., and Miss Alda White, Los Angeles, Calif.; a brother, Jack White, Stillwater, Okla.; and two sisters, one of whom is Mrs. John Bush, Brownwood, Tex.
