Noah Lee Griffin, 70, born 11 Feb 1906, of the Hoboken Community, who died Saturday morning, 12 Jun 1976, in a Waycross hospital was held on June 14, 1976, at 11 A. M. in the High Bluff Primitive Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.

He was a native and lifelong resident of the Hoboken Community, son of the late Early Lester Griffin and Violet Dowling Griffin. He owned and operated the Griffin Service Station on Highway 121 south of Hoboken. He attended the High Bluff Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Rosa Mae Altman Griffin of Hoboken; one son, Ray D. Griffin, Sr. of Hoboken; one brother, Oliver M. Griffin of Waycross; five half- sisters, Inez Kimbrell of Waycross, Elsie Dixon of Hoboken, Estelle Powers of Blackshear, Mildred Joyce of Jacksonville, FL, Ruby Crosby of St. Petersburg, FL; five half- brothers, Willis Griffin of Waycross, Edwin Griffin of Callahan, FL, Evan Griffin and Oden Griffin of Jacksonville, FL, Felton Griffin of Darien; six grandchildren; and four grand grandchildren.

Pallbearers were L. C. Lee, M. E. Griffin, Alvin Shumans, Gary Altman, Ellis Altman, and Delmus Martin. Member of John's Pond Hunting Club served as honorary pallbearers.

Miles-Odum Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
