In the beauty of Spring time, within the shadows of the everlastering mountians, Margorie (Marge) Lucia Robinson, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed away peacefully on April 15, 2002 returning to her Heavenly Father and family.

A remarkable and very independent woman, she surpassed her 90th Birthday and lived her life as she had planned.

She was born to Charles E. Robinson and Berta E. Huebner on Feb. 13, 1912 in West Bend, Wis.

She was the fourth child of six within her family. Throughout her life she adored her brother Ed.

In 1922 the family moved to Milwaukee, Wis. and lived there for a period of five years. In 1927, they moved to Los Angeles, Calif. and resided in Hollywood for nearly 30 years. A few years after graduation from Fairfax High School, Marjorie attended Woodbury Business College and graduated as a Professional Secretary in 1935.

During World War II, her mother (Berta), sister (Babe) and Marge had a home for children (who's mothers were working during the war effort) and cared for many children on a 24 hour, 7 day basis. At this time, her son to be (Pete) was given into her care when only 10 days old. She became his mother and adopted him in 1953 as her son. She was known in the family as "Miss Dutch" because she always kept a neat and very clean house. She purchased her first home in Hollywood, Calif. in 1944, then another home in Venice, Calif. in 1956.

Her last home and residence was in Woodland, Washington (1985) where she lived near her sisters Elizabeth and Crystal.

She loved her family and in 1998 she moved to Bluffdale and lived with her family there.

Marjory worked for the Harris Co., Los Angles Board of Education, Los Angeles School District--Adult Education and the Rand Corp. in Santa Monica, Calif.

Her hobbies included: cooking, music, reading, gardening, roses, flowers, her pets and the ballet. She was a very honest person, worked hard to care for her mother and son, providing for them constantly. She was the second only single woman in California history to adopt a child and was proud of her son.

Marjory was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother, Charles Edward, and sister, Crystal Altair.

She is survived by her son, Pete (Donna Kay) of Bluffdale, Ut; grandchildren: Roxanne (Steve) Foulger, Ryan B. Robinson, Bluffdale, Ut; Kevin McKinsey, Sacramento, Calif.; Todd McKinsey of Salt Lake City; sister, Elizabeth (Babe) Stafford, Conroe TX; nieces: Janet (Bill) Elliott, Conroe, TX; Judy (Herman) Newton, Sterling, VA; sister-in-law Jane Robinson of Palo Alto, CA; nieces Ann of Redwood City, CA; Alice of Las Altos, CA; Mary of Mt. View, CA; and nephew Frank of Ridge Crest, CA (The Robinsons).
