HORACE B. COCHRAN
Services for Horace Berry Cochran, 62. of Kyle, were held Tuesday at Pennington funeral Home in San Marcos at 4:30 p.m. with Rev. Finley Elders officiating. Burial will be in Live Oak Cemetery at Uhland, A native of Kyle, he worked as a contractor. He was born October 28,1915 to Levi Newton Cochran and Maudie Belle Henderson Cochran. He was previously married to Sible Virginia Jennings of San Marcos, Texas.
Survivors include his wife Dorothy Mae; two sons Bob Ed of San Marcos and step-son Jimmy Charles Landrum, Jr. of Uhland; two daughters, Mrs. Rose Stuenkel of Lockhart and Ms. Wendy Diane Cochran of Uhland; his mother Maudie Belle Cochran of San Marcos; two brothers, Kim Cochran of Austin and Walter Cochran of Kyle; six sisters: Ada Mae Robison of Fort Worth, Mary Lou White of California, Jessie Joe Underkoffler of Pennsylvania, Grace Vencak of Pennsylvania, Dorothy Jane Truitt of San Marcos and Sadie Rae Ellis of San Marcos; and four grandchildren.
