Grover C. Jordan, 57, of Dublin was killed when the car he was driving hit the end of a concerete culvert 4 miles north of Throckmorton on the Woodson - Throckmorton Highway. Jordan was dead at the scene of the accident.
Services were held at the First Baptist Church in Goree.
Survived by his wife; two sons - Jim and Lee; two daughters - Mrs. Harry Jones and Mrs. Joe Hudson; one step-son; one step-daughter; one grandson; two granddaughters.
