Atlanta Constitution - 12/5/1954 - Rites for Luther Andrew Brantley, 70, of 1223 Powder Springs Road, Marietta, were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Ward Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. James Wofford officiated. Burial was in City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Forrest and Clyde Brooks, Morgan Dyson, Claude Dobbs, William G. Baldwin and Harvey Grogen.
Brantley died early Sunday morning at Kennestone Hospital after a long illness.
A life-long residnet of Cobb County, Brantley was a farmer.
Survivors include two sons, John F. & C. W. Brantley and two brothers J. L. and C. F. Brantley and four grandchildren, all of Marietta.
