George Thomas Boyd was known as Dick or GT. He was one of nine children the Lord gave to Thomas H. Boyd and Sarah Ann Liles. His siblings were: John, Dorenda E., Jess Sylvester, Clara Jenny, Charles L., Elmer L., Geneva, and Edward Everett. He married Lucy Caroline Martin on Dec. 24, 1907 in Martin Springs, Baxter Co., Arkansas. They had 9 children: Leon Morris, Joseph Arlie, Blanche Ophelia, Charles Howard, baby boy, Ray Franklin, Alvie, George T., Ralph John, and Marlin Martin. The baby is buried near his parents here in Martin Cemetery.
