Mrs. J.M. Adkins who died at her home in Dallas Friday, October 26, was buried in Oak Hill cemetery here Saturday afternoon at 4:00 o'clock, Rev. D.H. Kirkpatrick conducting the burial service. The funeral service was held in Dallas before the body was brought here.
Mrs. Adkins lived in Lampasas for some time prior to thirty years ago and will be remembered by many of the old timers. She was an aunt of Roy L. Walker of this city.
