Some of Robert M. Patrick's ashes were spread in different places where he and his spouse lived or loved to visit. His remaining ashes are buried at the grave of his mother,Cleona Beithle at Mulvane Cemetery in Mulvane, Ks. as well as the ashes of his wife, Mildred Patrick. Robert retired from the Coast Guard where he was a Chief Petty Officer. He and Mildred settled down in Union Star, Mo. after living in several different locations. They loved to buy and restore older farm houses and purchased and restored the last one in Union Star Mo. During the last part of their lives they became (Snow Birds) and would travel back in forth from Union Star, Mo. and Phoenix, Az. They ended up staying in Glendale Az. until they moved to Suncity West Az. where they both passed away. Their loving younger daughter Sue moved to Arizona to take care of her parents while they lived in Arizona.
