On Saturday, January 11, 1964, William Robert Sweeney, Sr. of 9901 Central Ave., Landover, Md., beloved husband of the late Edna Irene Sweeney; father of William Robert, Jr., Clifford Sylvester, Bernard Elvin, Julian Jerome and Reverdy Sasscer Sweeney, Mrs. Mary Frances Dotson and Mrs. Dorothy Cecilla Gioffre. He also is survived by 20 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; three sisters and three brothers. Relatives and friends may call at the Ritchie Bros. Funeral Home, Upper Marlboro, Md. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Holy Family Catholic Church, Mitchellville, Md., on Wednesday, January 15, at 10 a.m. Interment Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Whitemarsh, Md.
