The funeral service for former Henry Countian Susie Emma Myers of Burleson, Texas, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery between Como and Cottage Grove.

Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Brown, Owens and Brumley Funeral Directors in Fort Worth, Texas, handled arrangements there.

Myers, 82, died Wednesday, July 3, 2013, in Fort Worth.

She was born June 10, 1931, in Camp Bennett, Ohio.

She was married on Oct. 18, 1949, to Robert Burns Myers, who died in 1980. They moved to Tennessee, where they raised their three children. She moved to Fort Worth to be closer to her children.

Survivors are two sons: Robert Burns Myers II and friend Kevin Harkins of Fort Worth, Jim (Paula) Myers of Troy, Mich.; one daughter: Linda (David) Williams of Burleson; one sister: Norma Jean Stone of Lucasville, Ohio; three grandchildren: Robert Burns III, Olivia Myers and Stephen Myers; and two great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a sister: Lillian McGeath; and companion of 23 years: Ottis Lester.
