Mr. S. T.Johns was a native of Jacksonville, FL, an Army Veteran of WWII, retired from Murray Ohio, and a member of Faith Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton & Fronie Moody Johns, one son, Gary Johns, two brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Idell White Johns of Loretto, TN; Two daughters, Catherine Burden & husband, Carrol of Loretto, TN and Janice Wade & husband, Bobby of Loretto, TN; Daughter-in-law, Faye Johns of Loretto, TN; One brother, E.L. Johns of Aubudale, FL; Eight grandchildren; Fifteen great, grandchildren; Three step great, grandchildren.

Pallbearers for Mr. Johns were: Tim Burden, Calvin Johns, Troy Burden, Jamie Wade, Stephen Wade, and Max Burden.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008 at Loretto Memorial Chapel with Steve Headrick officiating. Burial followed in Loretto Memorial Gardens with military honors at graveside.
