John B. Gregory married Anna E. Ham in 1876. They had five children, including one unnamed child who died at birth. Those who lived were Charles b.1876, Mary Elizabeth b.1879, Arthur M. b.1883, and James Henry, b.1885. Anna died in childbirth with James Henry, and her sister Caroline came to live with John and help take care of her sisters kids. Caroline married John in 1886, and they lived together with no additional children until her death before abt 1910. John is listed as widowed in the 1910 census. John died in 1914. John and Caroline are buried together in the Enix-Sloan Cemetery.
