Mrs. Adams was born in a log cabin in Ashville, North Carolina, to Moses and Emaline Tucker.
When she was a child, her family moved to Utah, where she was raised. One of her memories of that time was meeting Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid.
During her young adulthood, she moved to Macdoel, was married and started a family.
In the late 1920's, Mrs. Adams moved to Klamath Falls.
In addition to being a homemaker, she hleped her daughter, at the West Klamath Grocery & Tavern which was located near the entrance of Weyerehaeuser Co.
She was an active lifetime member of the 3rd Ward of the Church of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include her two daughters, Verna Jensen of Klamath Falls and Florence Hussey of Grants Pass; three sons, Jim Adams of Tahoe city, Calif., and Archie and Mason Meeks of Price, Utah; 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son Lee, six brothers and three sisters.
