"Mr. Casbeer
Funeral services for Branson Lamar Casbeer, 86, of Lampasas were conduct5ed Sunday afternoon in the Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox Chapel with the Rev. Calvin Peterson officiating. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Casbeer died Friday afternoon in Rollins-Brook Hospital in Lampasas.
Born in Lampasas on June 28, 1902, the son of the late Isaac and Phronia Casbeer, Mr. Casbeer was a lifelong resident of Lampasas County. He was a self-employed stonemason and a member of First United Methodist Church.
He married Annie Harris on Oct. 28, 1937, in Brown County. Survivors include his wife; Annie Casbeer of Lampasas; two daughters, Jane Jackson of Copperas Cove and Sharon Pinckney of Lampasas; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Brigss-Gamel-Wilcox Funeral Directors had charge of all arrangements."
