DEATH of A PATRIOT. - We are called upon to announce the departure of another of that noble band of Patriots of the Revolution, nearly all of whom have preceded him in his journey hence. Maj. Abiathar Joy, father of Col A Joy of Ciayton, died at that place on the 31st ultimo, aged 90 years. He served nearly through the war of the Revolution and was in many of the hard-fought battles for freedom and lived long to witness the glorious results of the hardships and sufferings endured by himself and his compatriots.
