J.R. Alexander, 83, Died Monday, September 13, 2004, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, Miss.

He was a Carpenter and Roofer, and had worked for Deviney Construction Company.

He was a Member of Concord Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.

Services will be at 3 P.M. Thursday at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Floyd Carpenter and the Rev. Mary Lou Tickell Officiating.
Burial will be in Jumpertown Cemetery.

Survivors include Five Daughters, Patsy Padgett and Husband, Doyle; Peggy Hall and Husband, Wayne; Diane Rowland and Husband, Ronny; Debbie Lambert and Husband, Dwight; and Donna Durham and Husband, Charlie; all of Booneville; Eight Grandchildren, Ray Hall and Wife, Cindy; Dale Christian and Wife, Paula; Michael Hall and Wife, Becky; Lindsey Rowland; DeAnna Christian Lambert and Husband, Melvin; Chad Durham and Channing Durham; all of Booneville; Jennifer Rowland Todd and Husband, Scott; of Florence, AL; and Lacie Hall Myhand and Husband, Nikoma; of Guntown; Five Step Grandchildren, Darrell Lambert and Richie Lambert of Texas; and Melissa Inman, Tim Padgett and Bradley Padgett, all of Booneville; Eight Great Grandchildren; and Seven Step Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Wife of 53 Years, Lorene Alexander; his Parents, John Robert and Willie Alexander; a Sister, Lillie Mae Reed; and a Brother, Bobby Alexander.

Pallbearers will be Ray Alexander, Ray Hall, Michael Hall, Nikoma Myhand, Randy Page and Scott Todd.
