Caroline, wife of Andrew Baker Vansickle. Refer her to Caroline's Missouri Death Certificate which shows that she was born in 1869, not 1861 and died at age 62 in 1931, which fits with the 1869 date. Also to the 1900 census Macon Co., MO, where Caroline is shown as born Apr 1869. I think in this case it's the MONUMENT THAT IS WRONG. 1910, 1920 and 1930 census all show her born 1869-1871. Nothing except that monument says 1861. I kept thinking maybe she lied about her age. Well it started when she was a baby then because 1870 and 1880 census for Caroline C. Miller in Macon Co. show she was born in 1869. 1869 it is and I'm sticking with it! You just have to take the preponderance of evidence here. RER
