Mr. George Keller of Perry Township, near Cadmus, died Friday evening aged about 78 years. His funeral services will be conducted Sunday, the 28th by Rev. Rice, with his burial at Behel by H. N. Tucker. He leaves ten children** to mourn their loss, all in good circumstances. He was a member of Bethel church and a good religious old man that everyone respected.

** Though George and Ellenor Keller had a total of 9 children, Rosina, their eldest, died in child birth in 1863 and her spouse, John Gillian, was killed in the Civil War in 1864. With the loss of both parents, George and Ellenor Keller adopted both Gillian children, Martha and Carmen.
