Halteman, Lizzie A., daughter of Samuel and Mary Ann (Alderfer) Bergey, was born in Franconia Twp., Pa., Feb. 12, 1887; died at the home of her daughter, Oct. 1, 1978; aged 91 y. She was married to Henry S. Halteman, who died in 1955. Surviving are 3 daughters (Mrs. Eva B. Godshall, Mabel B. Mrs. Earl A. Shelly, and Lizzie B. Mrs. Marvin Ruth), one son (Ellis B.), 12 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. She was a member of Franconia Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Oct. 4, in charge of Floyd Hackman and Curtis Bergey; interment in adjoining cemetery.
