After Elizabeth's death in 1861, Moses, now age 65, married his second wife, 20 year old Laura Ann McMinn. They were married on 18 Apr 1868 in Rusk, Cherokee Co, TX.
Elder Moses Denman was born in Georgia in 1803; joined the Primitive Baptist Church when quite young; commenced preaching in 1830, and died in Bell county Texas, in 1885. Was pastor of Cedar Grove Church in Bell county at the time of his death. He was a faithful minister, and loved by all who knew him.
