Mrs. Theresia A. Dalton, 100, died Wednesday at her home after a six-month illness. Mrs. Dalton was born Nov.27, 1883 at Anchor, Illinois, and had lived in Joplin since April 1982, moving here from Payson, AZ. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. Her husband, George T. Dalton, died March 6, 1933. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Flossie Thayer, Grand Junction, Colo., Mrs. Esther Swaney, Park Falls, Wis., Mrs. Ella Harris, Mansfield, MO. Mrs. Fern Parker, Payson, AZ. Mrs. Lucille Gustafson of the home and Mrs."Peggy" Sanders, Bosque Farms, NM.; 36 grandchildren, 111 great-grandchildren and 60 great-great-grandchildren.

Andreas & Wiebke both immigrated from Holstein, Germany, and were married Aug. 8, 1879 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Township of Anchor, McLean County, Illinois.

Theresia met George Thomas Dalton around 1903/04, when he came to work on her fathers farm in Illinois and they were married at Money Creek Township, McLean County, Illinois, Dec. 28, 1904.
