Nancy Elizabeth is the daughter of William Willis Teague and Amanda Safari Crites. William and Amanda Teague are buried at St. Joe Cemetery, Atkins, Pope Co., AR. Nancy and "Spruce" had 10 children, 2 dying as infants and their last daughter dying when she was about 8 years old. Two sons died before she did. She also raised a grandson. "Grandma Nancy" was blind for 20 years before she died. She broke her hip when she went to sit down and fell. She had been quilting. She went by ambulance to the hospital and died about 3 months later. "Woody" Duvall told me she sang a lot, she could remember one song was "Two Little Orphans" and she prayed every night. Anyone know the "Two Little Orphan" Song?
