Johnson Jones, 77, long time resident of Epps, LA and current resident of Richland Manor Nursing Home, were held at 2:00 PM, Monday, September 10, 2007 at the Hegwood Baptist Church, Epps, LA with Bro. Bobby Arnold officiating. Interment followed in the Delhi Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA
Virginia Earlene Jones was born on September 5, 1930 in Kelly, LA and passed away on Sunday, September 09, 2007 after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Jones; father, Andrew Franklin Johnson; mother, Mamie Bratton Johnson; siblings, Emmett Johnson, Claude Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Jr., and Margaret Johnson Stewart, three other siblings died as babies; daughters, Gwendolyn Jones and Sherry Jones Payne Galloway.
Survivors include her Children, Sheila Jones Payne and husband, Jack of Epps, Tonia Jean Jones McPherson and husband, Vernon of Epps, Gary Dwain Jones and wife, Gina of Delhi, Eddie Ray Jones and wife, Lisa of Kiln, MS, Darrell Wayne Jones and partner, Linda of Epps, and Carla Renee Jones Tarver Blaylock and partner, Rick of Monroe; 12-Grandchildren; 11-Great Grandchildren; and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Pallbearers were her grandsons, Dylan Jones, Dustin Jones, Donald Jones, Andrew Jones, Barkley Blaylock, and Tony Pittman
